About The Position

The IT Administrator empowers Vendasta's cloud-native workforce by delivering exceptional technology support, automation, and operational resilience. Combining hands-on technical expertise with a continuous improvement mindset, this role ensures employees have frictionless access to secure, scalable IT systems. Operating at the intersection of support, systems administration, and automation, you will leverage AI tools and prompt-based automation to streamline IT workflows, accelerate support delivery, and enhance the overall user experience while embedding emerging DevOps, SRE, and SecDevOps practices into day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, or SaaS management in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment
  • Strong experience in VPN, network, and desktop troubleshooting
  • Deep familiarity with Google Workspace and SaaS platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with workflow automation or AI-enabled IT tools is considered a strong asset
  • Experience administering softphone systems (e.g., Asterisk) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first responder for internal help desk tickets, resolving desktop, software, and telephony issues using both manual and AI-assisted troubleshooting methods.
  • Utilize AI-generated knowledge bases and self-healing scripts to reduce ticket volume and accelerate resolutions.
  • Administer internal systems including VPNs, WiFi networks, softphones, and key SaaS platforms.
  • Use AI-supported license management tools to track usage, optimize costs, and enforce compliance across the organization.
  • Identify and automate repetitive IT workflows (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, password resets) using prompt-based scripting or no-code/low-code automation tools.
  • Collaborate with security and people teams to maintain seamless employee lifecycle processes with minimal manual touchpoints.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Vendasta's phone and network infrastructure, embedding AI-powered diagnostics or self-service tools into the internal IT portal.
  • Help design user-friendly internal platforms that proactively resolve common technical challenges through guided prompts or smart forms.
  • Maintain and expand IT documentation in the LMS, creating AI-indexed guides and decision trees that support faster support triage and self-resolution.
  • Regularly contribute to internal IT knowledge assets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation standards.
  • Support secure system configurations and contribute to uptime through on-call rotations.
  • Assist with implementing AI-enhanced monitoring tools and threat detection alerts for internal systems.
