About The Position

The IT Administrator provides day-to-day technical support for production and office operations. This position supports MES and production-floor IT equipment, employee computers, printers, scanners, and other IT devices while assisting with troubleshooting, equipment setup, and IT asset management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Basic knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, printers, and network connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments and handle IT equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

IT-related education or certification preferred.
Previous IT support, help desk, desktop support, or manufacturing IT experience preferred.
MES, barcode scanner, and label printer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine IT/MES checks throughout production areas and responds to technical issues.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for MES, computers, printers, label printers, barcode scanners, PDAs, monitors, and related equipment.
Assist employees with hardware, software, printing, and basic connectivity issues.
Set up computers, printers, approved software, and other IT equipment for employees.
Support meeting-room TVs, monitors, HDMI connections, and presentation equipment.
Assist with IT equipment installation, replacement, relocation, and recovery.
Maintain IT asset inventory, including equipment assignment, location, condition, and available spare equipment.
Collect and organize unused, damaged, or replaced IT equipment.
Document IT issues, troubleshooting activities, and equipment changes.
Escalate advanced MES, network, system, or infrastructure issues to the appropriate IT personnel.
Coordinate with Production and other departments to address IT issues affecting daily operations.
Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
