About The Position

The iSTEM Department is seeking candidates to assist with the Summer Program as Camp Counselors for the iSTEM Summer Academy 2026. This role involves facilitating curriculum and activities, managing student drop-off and pick-up, communicating with parents, assisting students with hands-on activities, teaching the use of 3D printers and laser engravers, completing child safety training, and attending a mandatory training session.

Requirements

• Must complete child safety training modules
• Must attend a one day training session during the first week of July
• Must apply online and submit a resume

Responsibilities

• Facilitate curriculum and activities during the ISTEM Summer Academy (July 6th - July 17th, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
• Manage drop off and pick up protocol every morning and afternoon
• Communicate with parents or guardians in a professional manner
• Assist students with the hands-on curriculum
• Teach students how to use the 3D printers and laser engravers in the School of Engineering MakerSpace
• Complete child safety training modules
• Attend a one day training session during the first week of July
