About The Position

This is a summer position for the High School Summer Academy, running from June 8 - 26, 2025. The role involves teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, adhering to the master contract and principal's directives. The position requires maintaining good communication and cooperation with staff and parents. The academy operates 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with the exception of June 19th, which is a non-school day. Additionally, there are 4 hours of set-up/program training required prior to the start of the academy.

Requirements

  • Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach high school.
  • Strong general academic background.
  • Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
