About The Position

OPENLANE is seeking a Title Issue Specialist with experience in title processing and automotive customer service. This role is part of our dedicated title team, responsible for handling customer inquiries and ensuring accurate and timely title processing. The specialist will use their expertise in titles and customer service to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle title processing and a strong customer-first mindset. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle title processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, with a talent for identifying successful outcomes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues or appropriately escalate them.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming title issues promptly and efficiently via email, text, and phone calls.
  • Ensure that all title issues are resolved completely or appropriately escalated to the relevant department or personnel for assistance.
  • Process vehicle titles from various states, meticulously verifying accuracy and marketability.
  • Collaborate with relevant agencies, customers, and lienholders to resolve title issues effectively.
  • Ensure titles are promptly dispatched to buying dealers.
