About The Position

This position is contingent upon contract award and supports a new Defense Health Agency program. The start date follows contract award and Government access. The role authors and maintains the Risk Management Framework package for a health data exchange platform and keeps continuous authorization evidence current. It involves writing control statements, managing plans of action and milestones, and collaborating with the Government ISSO and security operations lane to keep the authorization current.

The position is remote within the United States. Zaden's home office is in Huntsville, Alabama. U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation needed for this privileged role. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 investigation and IT-II designation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of DoD RMF package work with eMASS.
• DoD 8140 qualification for the ISSO work role, or ability to earn it within six months.
• Hands-on experience authoring SP 800-53 Rev. 5 controls and managing POA&Ms.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the Tier 3 investigation and IT-II designation required for this privileged role.

Nice To Haves

• Active Secret clearance or Secret eligibility.
• Continuous ATO or DevSecOps pipeline evidence experience.
• AWS GovCloud and AWS Config experience.
• DHA or health IT authorization experience.

Responsibilities

• Author SP 800-53 Rev. 5 control statements and maintain the eMASS package.
• Manage POA&Ms from findings through closure in coordination with engineering teams.
• Automate evidence collection using AWS Config and the platform's pipelines.
• Support assessments, inheritance decisions, and authorization boundary changes.
• Hold privileged access to authorization tooling under the program's security rules.
• Work with the Government ISSO and the security operations lane to keep the authorization current.
