Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in animal welfare.
Minimum of a year experience in a leadership role.
Organized, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities.
Strong communication and people management skills.
Strong client service skills.
Comfortable working in an active shelter environment.
Takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of dedicated animal care professionals.
Create an environment where the youngest and most vulnerable animal populations (puppies, kittens, and nursing mothers) receive the highest standard of care.
Oversee the daily care of neonate populations.
Work closely with the community and other shelter partners to maintain and develop an active foster program.
Provide quality animal care.
Support the team.
Work collaboratively with shelter, veterinary, and customer service teams.
