About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ISO 9001 Auditor for contract roles. The primary responsibility will be to conduct audits at our clients' suppliers' manufacturing sites using Pro QC checklists. This role involves identifying risks and potential issues through process audits, classifying audit findings against ISO 9001 requirements, and communicating these findings to the audit team. A key part of the role is issuing audit reports within the specified deadlines. This is a 1099 contractor position with project durations that may vary based on client needs. The current project is estimated at 1 to 2 man-days, with shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Travel to Chicopee, MA and surrounding areas is required.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
• Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical)
• Quality assurance and quality control
• Operations and production management
• Supply chain and logistics
• Construction and infrastructure
• Food processing and packaging
• Healthcare and medical devices
• Energy and utilities

Responsibilities

• Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
• Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
• Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
• Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
