About The Position

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Field Technician based in Deer Park to work at various customer locations. The role supports the setup and operation of water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other industrial cleaning services. The HydroBlaster/Field Technician represents HPC-Industrial and builds ongoing working relationships with clients and customers. The position is also presented as an opportunity for transitioning military personnel to apply their skills and training in civilian work.

Requirements

Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs.
Understand English well enough to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
Have a valid driver license and meet the company's driving-policy requirements when driving a company vehicle or using a personal vehicle for company business.
Be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.

Nice To Haves

OSHA certification may be required for the job.

Responsibilities

Follow health and safety policies, processes, and practices at all times.
Operate manual and automated Hydroblasting equipment.
Operate specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
Operate pumping equipment and specialized Hydroblasting or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment used on the job.
Examine cleaned surfaces as needed to ensure they meet company and customer expectations.
Perform routine and required maintenance on the unit and its peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment.
Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
