About The Position

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking HydroBlaster/Field Technicians to work at various customer locations. The role supports the successful setup and operation of water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other field services. Technicians represent HPC-Industrial and build ongoing working relationships with clients and customers. The position is also presented as an opportunity for transitioning military personnel to apply their skills and training in civilian work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained in other jobs.
• Ability to understand English sufficiently to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving-policy requirements when driving a company vehicle or using a personal vehicle for company business.
• Knowledge of operating emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Valid TWIC credential or ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA certification may be required for the job.
• Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and procedures, making safety the primary goal at all times.
• Operate manual and automated Hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Energize and operate pumping equipment and specialized Hydroblasting or chemical-cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment used on the job.
• Examine cleaned surfaces as needed to ensure they meet company and customer expectations.
• Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and its peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment.
• Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
