About The Position
The Manager manages Epic application and assumes responsibility for new development and existing production support; manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and management of all aspects of a project life cycle. The Manager provides mentoring and coaching associated with performance development and project management and makes decisions that influence the project on a large scale.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 7 years related healthcare or project and team management experience including two years in a supervisory/management capacity (experience should include leading large, complex system integration efforts or large software application projects)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong budget and schedule management skills ensuring the business community is engaged in the project.
- Problem solving skills and continuous process improvement skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to remain dedicated to client service.
- Judgment skills to think clearly in complex, dynamic situations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Negotiation skills to work with various parties towards a mutually acceptable business solution.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, such as evenings, nights, weekends, extended shifts, etc.
