About The Position

The Irrigation Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through meticulous and timely processing of daily irrigation parts receipts, RGAs, vendor claims, and return transfers from other warehouse locations. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for accurately reviewing, organizing, and processing all irrigation sales orders, immediately pulling customer pick-ups, and assisting customers with loading their vehicles when required. You will be responsible for accurately identifying the preferred shipping method to ensure proper and timely processing of sales orders, as well as packing and shipping freight orders for Wesco Turf and LTL shipments, communicating with the warehouse crew and transportation. Programming product as needed, daily receipt and processing of irrigation product deliveries via small package, LTL and Wesco trucks, and the daily receipt and processing of returns from customers are also key responsibilities. You will work closely with the irrigation and customer service teams to ensure that all RGAs are being handled timely and accurately. Managing and processing all irrigation vendor claims, including return paperwork and shipping product to vendors, performing three monthly inventory cycle counts, and supporting the Irrigation Inventory Associate with discrepancy review are also part of the role. You will be accountable for maintaining designated warehouse locations for bin identification accuracy and inventory control, accurately maintaining and locating all parts received with no bin location, and maintaining an accurate and organized RGA shelf for returned items pending vendor claims or location assignment. Maintaining an accurate and organized Defective shelf and scrapping inventory as directed, monitoring inventory levels to maintain proper bin locations, and facilitating reports to maintain open location management on a consistent basis are also required. Performing end-of-year inventory to support the Irrigation Sales Department and communicating via email and phone with Irrigation Associates, providing service and support for organizational success are essential. You will also assist with pulling, packing, and shipping as needed for other warehouse departments and assist with overstock management.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced and detail-oriented position.
  • Previous warehouse receiving experience – 5 years.
  • Previous inventory management experience.
  • Certification to operate forklifts.
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
  • Prelude or other inventory management systems.
  • UPS shipping - WorldShip.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish, a plus.
