About The Position

Sensei believes in guiding guests to greater wellbeing by offering experiential movement, rest, and nourishment classes and programs. At Sensei Porcupine Creek, Sensei is operating the lodging operation, as well as world-class golf, tennis, spa, fitness, movement, nutrition, meditative, enrichment, and body assessment facilities. In addition, Sensei will run the F&B operation, as part of a licensing agreement with Nobu. Sensei programs and continuing learning sessions are high-touch, evidence-led, and supported by the latest technology.

Requirements

Reasonable oral, written and communication skills
Operate trucks and light motorized equipment
Ability to make reasonable decisions using acquired job-related knowledge and common sense
Ability to see details (trash, ropes and stakes that are out of place), proper set-up of tees and proper cup locations
Ability to understand and follow directions
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Must possess a valid California driver’s license and maintain a clean DMV record
Knowledge of the theory, care and operation of pumping stations and control systems
Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in grounds and landscape area maintenance work
Ability to operate light motorized equipment
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Must be able to handle extreme weather outdoors and work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

Report all faulty equipment, supply needs, maintenance needs, safety hazards, injuries, and other concerns immediately to your supervisor
Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers
Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.
Assist teams laterally across all departments to lead a seamless guest flow throughout the different resort spaces.
Maintain, repair and monitor all facets of golf course irrigation system
Constant monitoring and adjusting of sprinkler heads throughout entire property
Trace and locate electrical components related to the irrigation system
Irrigation inventory and parts ordering
Communicate with Assistant Superintendent on the status of the irrigation system and golf course moisture levels
Perform varied tasks involved in maintaining pristine golf course conditions
Operate powered equipment in mowing golf course greens, tees and fairways
Apply water and fertilizer as instructed
Change cups on the greens and move tee markers as directed
Remove debris and maintain course cleanliness
Clean and maintain equipment
Fill divots with divot mix
Blow cart paths
Assist with seeding new greens, tees, and fairways
Perform all job duties in a safe manner and abide by all safety policies and procedures
Adhere to all company and departmental guidelines
Report any hazards, injuries, and safety concerns to supervisor immediately
Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor
Demonstrate warmth and sincerity in all interactions
Take ownership of all guest requests and be proactive in ensuring resolution as needed
Always maintain impeccable grooming and personal hygiene and wear uniform as directed
Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in both verbal and nonverbal communication
