About The Position

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the irrigation system, including sprinkler heads, valve boxes, and repairing leaks. This role also assists with the maintenance of the pump station and fertigation system, as well as other course operations as needed. The technician will also maintain irrigation inventory and perform other duties as assigned. Safety is a key component of this role, requiring adherence to company safety programs, proper use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

Knowledgeable in electrical wiring
Knowledgeable in PVC pipe repair
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Adaptable to changing weather conditions
Minimum 1 year experience

Responsibilities

Maintains and troubleshoots irrigation system
Maintains sprinkler heads and valve boxes in regards to edging and leveling as required
Repair leaks as required
Assists with maintenance of pump station & fertigation system
Assists with other areas of course operations as needed
Maintain irrigation inventory
Other duties as assigned
Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs.
Uses personal protective equipment as trained and required.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.
Reports any on the job injury to management.
Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
