About The Position

Pungitore Irrigation & Fertilizer is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Irrigation Services Manager to support and help lead their irrigation service operations. This role is responsible for managing service schedules, optimizing technician routes, and ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery for their clients. You will play a critical role in keeping the irrigation department running efficiently by coordinating between field technicians, clients, and internal systems. This position requires both technical irrigation knowledge and strong operational and administrative execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and communication. Experience in irrigation, landscaping, or a field service environment is strongly preferred, as industry knowledge will be key to long-term success. This role is essential to the success and growth of the irrigation division by creating structure, consistency, and efficiency in scheduling and communication, directly impacting team performance, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of irrigation systems, terminology, and service processes.
  • Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Jobber CRM or similar scheduling software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accountability and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in irrigation, landscaping, or a field service environment is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in irrigation or landscaping operations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain daily and weekly irrigation service schedules in Jobber CRM.
  • Optimize technician routes for efficiency, travel time, and service priority.
  • Coordinate service calls, system repairs, startups, and winterizations.
  • Monitor schedule capacity and proactively identify opportunities to fill gaps or adjust workloads.
  • Ensure all jobs are properly set up with accurate notes, materials, and scope of work.
  • Act as the primary support point for irrigation technicians regarding scheduling, job details, and updates.
  • Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and expectations clearly to the field team.
  • Help troubleshoot scheduling conflicts or service delays in real time.
  • Support overall team efficiency by ensuring technicians are set up for success each day.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates, and ensure a smooth service experience.
  • Respond promptly to irrigation service inquiries and requests.
  • Coordinate follow-ups for incomplete work, callbacks, or additional service needs.
  • Maintain a professional, responsive, and solution-oriented approach to all client interactions.
  • Utilize Jobber CRM to manage scheduling, job tracking, and service documentation.
  • Review job notes, forms, and service history to ensure accuracy and continuity.
  • Assist with quoting for irrigation service and small repairs when needed.
  • Support invoicing processes by ensuring completed work is documented correctly and ready for billing.
  • Export and analyze reports to support planning, performance tracking, and operational improvements.
