About The Position

Village Green Landscapes is a locally owned and operated full-scale landscape company serving the Twin City metro area with office locations in Saint Paul, New Brighton, Brooklyn Park, and Savage. Village Green Landscapes is looking for a full time Irrigation Service Technician. This position can work out of our St. Paul, Brooklyn Park or Savage locations. Full-time year-round employment includes commercial snow removal in the winter months. Our Irrigation Service Technician provides irrigation maintenance and repair to our customers irrigation systems. They serve as a key team member to ensure our customer properties are beautiful, safe, and well maintained.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience with irrigation system maintenance
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test

Low voltage certification

Responsibilities

Perform all irrigation maintenance and repair tasks including: identifying water source, back flow, and meters for client irrigation locate isolation valves wire in and use irrigation remotes replace and adjust irrigation heads repair poly and PVC pipes replace valves programming irrigation controlled
Ensure customer irrigation systems are maintained to allow maximum efficiency and conserve water
Works autonomously demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
