We’re looking for an Irrigation Service Specialist to install, maintain, and repair irrigation, lighting, and water feature systems across residential and commercial properties. This role is essential to ensuring systems operate at peak performance, while representing Hidden Creek as a trusted, professional partner to our clients. About the Role As an Irrigation Service Specialist, you’ll perform hands-on work to ensure every system meets Hidden Creek’s high standards. You’ll troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and communicate directly with clients and internal teams to provide seamless service experience. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who values technical excellence, problem-solving, and delivering top-notch customer service.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, or repair
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and follow design plans, specifications, and manufacturer instructions
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various conditions
  • Take pride in doing things right the first time
  • Motivated by high standards, accountability, and measurable results
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and system diagnostics
  • Experience communicating directly with clients and teams
  • Comfortable leading or managing field work and service tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform all phases of irrigation and lighting system installation, maintenance, and service to meet or exceed Hidden Creek standards.
  • Ensure systems are correctly installed, configured, and fully operational.
  • Provide clients with detailed maintenance and service plans.
  • Quickly identify and resolve issues within irrigation and lighting systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
  • Provide expert recommendations for repairs or upgrades based on system assessments.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on service work.
  • Ensure clients are informed about the operation and maintenance of their systems to maximize satisfaction and system longevity.
  • Allocate time for administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including parts used and time spent on jobs.
