IRRIGATION MECHANIC
About The Position

Join the University of Oklahoma Facilities Management Department as an Irrigation Mechanic and help maintain the essential systems that keep our campus running. In this role, you'll develop a skilled trade while working on commercial irrigation systems, including water wells and water tower operations. You'll gain experience operating equipment, troubleshooting systems, and contributing to infrastructure projects that support one of Oklahoma's premier universities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.
- Ability to drive University vehicles.
Nice To Haves
- Trade school certificate in landscaping, plumbing, or related field.
- GIS mapping experience.
- Ability to read and understand written materials such as blueprints, metrics or technical manuals.
- Expertise in using appropriate tools or equipment.
Responsibilities
