About The Position

The CLS Irrigation Crew Leader leads a team of irrigation technicians in enhancing the appearance and value of client properties through installation, maintenance, operation, repair, and troubleshooting of irrigation and landscape lighting systems. The position is seasonal depending on the regional location. It is based on site in Harrison, Ohio, with travel expectations of up to 25%.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a DOT-certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
Experience with computers or tablets.

Nice To Haves

Class B CDL; valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead, assist, and train crew members in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems.
Conduct job briefings, read irrigation plans, set up work sites, and assign tasks.
Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to crew members.
Monitor crew work performance and conduct final site walk-throughs.
Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Debrief daily assignments and collaborate with management.
Track and report team hours.
Safely operate and maintain vehicles and equipment.
Follow safety rules and report incidents.
