About The Position

Primoris Energy Services Corp is seeking experienced Ironworkers (Job ID: 43427) to join our team. This role involves the construction, assembly, and erection of structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience as an Ironworker, preferably in the energy services or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of ironworking techniques, tools, and equipment, including welding (SMAW, FCAW preferred), cutting, and bolting.
  • Familiarity with rigging and signaling for crane operations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
  • Erect steel and pre-engineered metal building components using various tools and equipment, including cranes, hoists, and welding apparatus.
  • Cut, weld, and bolt steel and other metal structures to precise specifications.
  • Install iron and steel girders, columns, and other structural components.
  • Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
  • Perform rigging and signaling duties for crane operations.
  • Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect structures for proper alignment, leveling, and plumbing.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment.
