About The Position

Primoris Energy Services Corp is seeking experienced Ironworkers (Job ID: 43427) to join our team. This role involves the construction, assembly, and erection of structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience as an Ironworker, preferably in the energy services or construction industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of ironworking techniques, tools, and equipment, including welding (SMAW, FCAW preferred), cutting, and bolting.
Familiarity with rigging and signaling for crane operations.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
Erect steel and pre-engineered metal building components using various tools and equipment, including cranes, hoists, and welding apparatus.
Cut, weld, and bolt steel and other metal structures to precise specifications.
Install iron and steel girders, columns, and other structural components.
Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
Perform rigging and signaling duties for crane operations.
Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect structures for proper alignment, leveling, and plumbing.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
Perform routine maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment.
