About The Position
Lead an ironworker crew on a large semiconductor project in North Phoenix, keeping steel erection safe, accurate, and on schedule. The project is ramping up quickly. This is a full-time, in-person field position.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as an Ironworker Foreman.
- Ability to read erection drawings, including piece marks, grid lines, elevations, orientation, and connection details.
- Knowledge of structural bolting, including selecting the correct bolts and meeting tightening requirements.
- Ability to operate boom lifts and telehandlers safely, including reading load charts.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct ironworker crews day to day.
- Use erection drawings to ensure the correct steel members are installed in the correct locations.
- Check connections, stability, and bracing before members are released from the crane.
- Ensure bolting meets the drawings and specifications.
- Oversee the safe use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers, including fall protection.
- Report progress and issues to the superintendents.
