Iron Technician I (2nd Shift)

The Iron Technician I provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components. Requirements
- Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired but not required
- Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic
- Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers and screw drivers
- Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment
- Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department

Responsibilities
- Process incoming iron starts to finish.
- Able to accept equipment from delivery, recertify equipment, load equipment for delivery, complete all associate paperwork, perform quality check, and manage inventory (without supervision)
- Assists Iron Technicians during the disassembling phase
- Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components
- Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections
- Ability to demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Ability to identify SPM and Customer product
- Ability to assemble flow control product
- Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee
- Demonstrates computer skills for the SPM AMP System Inventory
- Incoming Iron
- Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area
- Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met
- Performs other routine duties as assigned
