IRATA Certified, Rope Access Technicians - 2026 Fall Turnaround Season
About The Position
WQS Industrial is recruiting IRATA Certified, Rope Access Technicians for the Fall 2026 Turnaround Season, with major projects in the Fort McMurray region. This role offers a chance to join a dynamic team, enjoy a people-first culture, and contribute to a season focused on excellence and innovation. The turnaround schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour shifts. A pre-work schedule may vary. The duration of the project is from August 2026 to October 2026. The hourly rate ranges from $32.00 to $67.00, varying based on rope level and trade. Flights and camp are provided by the company. A competitive Local Incentive Program (LIP) is available to IRATA Level 3 employees local to Fort McMurray.
Requirements
- IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is required.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times.
- Able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace (includes alcohol and drug testing).
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
- Common Safety Orientation & Confined Space Certification are a bonus.
