About The Position

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking applicants for an IRA/HSA Representative to join the Deposit Operations Team. This position will be located at 4407 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and possess superior time management skills. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.

• Working knowledge of Coverdell Education Savings Accounts
• Maintain knowledge of IRS rules and regulations in relation to IRAs and HSAs
• Maintain knowledge of the Deposit Support department

Responsibilities

• Answer internal and external Deposit Support phone calls.
• Respond to internal and external Deposit Support emails.
• Perform Individual Retirement Account and Health Savings Account duties: Assist with IRA and HSA duties as needed, assist with beneficiary IRAs, assist with IRA and HSA pending files, assist with reviewing IRA and HSA transactions for compliance, maintain knowledge of IRS rules and regulations in relation to IRAs and HSAs.
• Perform the following duties of the certificate program: Assist with purchasing and redeeming certificates, assist with certificate penalties, process mail transactions for new certificate funding.
• Have a working knowledge of Coverdell Education Savings Accounts.
• Distribute and process mail and interoffice documents from branches.
• Assist with US Savings Bond questions and situations that may arise.
• Participate in and assist with questions on the Signature Guarantee program.
• Maintain knowledge of the Deposit Support department.
• Work Saturday rotation, as needed.
