About The Position

The IRA and Systems Specialist is responsible for providing assistance and expertise to BankPlus employees on IRAs, CESA, Health Savings Accounts and Time Deposit Accounts and various software applications. This role involves assisting employees with specific issues, providing information on regulation changes, and supporting various software applications used by the bank.

Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of similar or related experience.
  • General computer knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc.
  • Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • IRA and Personal Banker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting BankPlus employees with specific issues relating to IRAs, CESA, Health Savings Accounts and Time Deposit accounts and providing information regarding any regulation changes.
  • Providing assistance to BankPlus employees on different software applications including but not limited to Silverlake, ArgoKeys, Branch Anywhere, eSign, and Adobe Sign.
  • Assisting with testing new releases and updates and providing information and details of changes.
  • Assisting with working with other departments on special projects such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all IRA forms submitted.
  • Handling all IRA Government reporting corrections after Year End.
  • Communicating with BankPlus employees via e-mail concerning problems, concerns, implementations, etc.
  • Communicating with Banking Center Communications and Support and Education departments.
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc.
  • Completing required compliance training and adhering to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
  • Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
  • Making referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.
  • Communicating with Jack Henry on issues/opportunities with core product.
  • Performing other duties as requested.
  • Loading all calls/issues through Track-it product.
