About The Position
Regional West Health Services (RWHS), an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, is seeking an IR Tech/Special Procedures Technologist. The role performs Interventional Radiology exams and protocols, applies infection control policies and practices, and meets population- and age-specific competencies described in the unit-specific addendum. A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks. A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Current ARRT certification in Special Procedures within 18 months of hire.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Licensed as a Medical Radiographer in the State of Nebraska.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background checks as a condition of a job offer.
Responsibilities
- Meet population- and age-specific competencies per the unit-specific addendum.
- Consistently apply infection control policies and practices.
- Perform all Interventional Radiology exams and protocols.
