About The Position

This is a full-time position in the Vascular Lab, working with Vascular Surgeons. The role involves assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures using diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment. The technologist will utilize sterile technique, maintain knowledge of the cardiovascular system, and provide direct patient care to patients 18 years of age or older. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system and assisting the physician in all catheterization procedures as monitor, scrub, and circulator.

Requirements

• Registered Radiology Tech (ARRT) or RCIS credentials or CVT experience and BLS required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiology Technology.
• One year of special procedures or cath lab experience required.

Nice To Haves

• IR Vascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment.
• Utilizing sterile technique and maintaining operational and anatomic knowledge of the cardiovascular system.
• Providing direct patient care to patients 18 years of age, or older.
• Maintaining appropriate and accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system.
• Assisting the physician in the performance of all catheterization procedures in the role of monitor, scrub and circulate.
