IR Electrician
About The Position
ABM Electrical Power Services is seeking an experienced Infrared (IR) Electrician to support a dedicated electrical maintenance program at a large mission-critical campus in Santa Clara, California. This position is responsible for performing infrared inspections of electrical systems, identifying thermal anomalies, documenting findings, and supporting the planning and execution of corrective electrical repairs. The technician will work independently in the field, provide detailed reporting, and ensure electrical assets are maintained in a safe and reliable operating condition. The role is ideal for a journeyman-level electrician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and experience using infrared thermography equipment. This position is assigned to a long-term customer contract and provides ongoing career opportunities within ABM Electrical Power Services. If project needs change, the technician may be transitioned into other Electrical Power Services operations.
Requirements
- Experienced Infrared (IR) Electrician
- Journeyman-level electrician
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience using infrared thermography equipment
