About The Position

SideShift is building the operating system for the creator economy. We connect brands with creators and make it dramatically easier to discover talent, run campaigns, track performance, and pay creators. Today, more than 1M creators and 3,000+ brands use SideShift, and more than $100M has been paid to creators through the platform. Our investors and board include Reid Hoffman, Co-founder of LinkedIn. Our iOS app is at the center of the creator experience. Creators use SideShift to discover and connect with brands, track ad performance, and get paid. We're looking for an iOS Engineer who wants to have outsized ownership over a product used by over 1M creators.

Requirements

• 1–5+ years of professional iOS development experience using MVVM or similar architectural patterns
• You’ve built and scaled iOS apps from 0 to 1
• Strong proficiency in Swift or Objective C
• Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals and software architecture
• Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Strong product instincts and attention to detail
• Ability to take an ambiguous problem and turn it into a shipped product
• High ownership — you don't need someone telling you exactly what to build every day

Nice To Haves

• Experience building consumer or marketplace applications
• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup
• Experience with payments, messaging, or creator products
• Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and mobile performance optimization
• A strong eye for product and interaction design

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality iOS features using Swift
• Help define and evolve our iOS architecture
• Build interfaces and interactions that feel fast, polished, and native
• Debug production issues and improve app reliability and performance
• Help establish engineering practices and standards as the mobile team grows
• Move quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality
