About The Position

We are hiring an experienced iOS Developer to build and ship high-quality native apps for a public sector software environment. The developer will own features from design to release and work closely with product, QA, and backend teams. The role is onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is limited to local candidates.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of iOS development experience.
• Strong Swift and Xcode skills.
• Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Working experience with Kotlin.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Git, Agile, and CI/CD basics.
• At least one app published on the App Store.
• Clear communication across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work independently and own deliverables.

Nice To Haves

• Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Core Data, Combine, and async/await.
• XCTest unit and UI testing.
• Offline data sync and GPS or camera features.
• Public sector or government app experience.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native iOS applications.
• Write clean, testable code in Swift and Kotlin.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Apply MVVM or similar architecture patterns.
• Troubleshoot bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Manage App Store builds and releases.
• Join code reviews and support junior developers.
