About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, recovery-focused IOP Facilitator to provide direct services to clients in its Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) in Kinston, North Carolina. The facilitator co-facilitates and facilitates psychoeducation and psychotherapy groups, establishes client aftercare plans, and initiates and maintains contact with family members and support systems. The role works with clinical supervisors, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support appropriate placement within the continuum of care, promote a therapeutic environment, and encourage healthy interpersonal behaviors. The position contributes to clients’ recovery and long-term stability. The role is onsite and typically follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule, with flexibility to facilitate evening groups as needed. Pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Full or provisional licensure as an LCAS, or CADC or CADC-I certification.
Experience in substance use services.
Maintain a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles used for work.

Experience in substance use services is preferred.
