About The Position

To carry out intraoperative monitoring of EEG during surgical procedures assisting the surgeon in prevention of neurological deficits. To perform routine procedures in the Clinic or hospital EEG laboratories when not in the operating room. Individuals hired to this position are required to complete 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to apply to other positions within Mayo Clinic. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship, and we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience.
• Computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and shows proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in routine diagnostic testing is preferred.
• The Certification Examination in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring is strongly encouraged.
