About The Position

The Invoicing Specialist performs various tasks related to all areas of customer invoicing.

High School diploma.
Good organizational skills –and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively interface with customers and internal personnel
Must be computer proficient and have solid data entry skills
Must be a high energy team player
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must possess good math and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment

Responsible for daily invoicing of multiple lines of business through manifests, manual invoices, or e-mail/mail
Responsible for on-line invoicing through customer portals and web-based accounts
Ability to use multiple transportation systems, along with an oracle based financial system
Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to pull source information. Analysis of information for accuracy is required
Work with multiple departments to ensure new customer billing is set up correctly including: IT, Business Intelligence, Collections, and Account Management
Timely billing and assisting the accounting team with month end responsibilities
Look for additional opportunities to automate and streamline the process for each/all customers.
Maintain and follow adopted internal controls
Strong Excel, Outlook and Web-site navigational skills required
Excellent communication and organizational skills required
