About The Position

Bain Capital's Investor Relations team is seeking a Product Support Associate to support the global Real Estate team based in our Boston office. This role involves partnering with senior BCRE, marketing/communications, and IR leadership to facilitate capital raise and other marketing initiatives. The associate will be responsible for the design and preparation of all investor-facing and external correspondence, ensuring materials capture attention and communicate a powerful branded message. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience through creative flair and the ability to translate requirements into design. The role also includes overseeing all marketing projects and collateral, communicating investment strategies, fund performance, and macro-market commentary, and assisting with ad hoc client and prospect requests. Additionally, the associate will liaise with global distribution sales and investment teams, develop relationships with internal stakeholders, and understand financial statements and investment performance metrics.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly regarded institution) and a demonstrated track record of successful work experience.
• 2-5+ years of experience at an investment management firm, private equity firm, consulting firm, investment bank, or similar.
• Highly creative and innovative individual with a proven track record of creating aesthetically pleasing materials that help simplify complex concepts.
• Technical aptitude and proficiency in all forms of desktop publishing and software including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
• A self-starter with excellent organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is capable of delivering exceptional results under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate our real estate investment clearly and concisely.
• Well-developed project management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects/tasks with limited supervision.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• A team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and business maturity that builds and leverages relationships to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior BCRE, marketing/communications, and IR leadership to facilitate capital raise and other marketing initiatives.
• Design and prepare all investor-facing and external correspondence, ensuring materials capture attention and communicate a powerful branded message.
• Oversee all marketing projects and collateral, including pitchbooks, investor reporting, fund profiles, private placement memoranda, website content, etc., from conceptualization to finished product.
• Communicate investment strategies, fund performance and updates, and macro-market commentary, internally and externally.
• Assist with ad hoc client and prospect requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Liaise with global distribution sales and investment teams to communicate latest product position and strategy updates.
• Develop and maintain relationships across internal stakeholders, including investment teams, legal, compliance, accounting and finance, and global distribution sales teams.
• Understand financial statements and investment performance metrics.
