Investor Relations Associate
About The Position
Roers Companies is hiring an Investor Relations Associate to partner with its Equity team in developing new and maintaining existing investor relationships. The role collaborates with other departments to support company needs and provide a high-quality investor experience. It includes coordinating equity raises for multifamily apartment projects of approximately $15 million each, supporting investor onboarding and servicing, and managing investor communications and related processes. The Associate also works with Finance on project sales and refinances, collaborates with Legal on contracts and offering materials, maintains systems for tracking investor transactions and project raises, and supports investor events and marketing materials as needed. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior work experience in account management, finance, or operations.

Responsibilities
- Partner with each unit of the Equity team to develop new and maintain existing investor relationships.
- Coordinate equity raises for multifamily apartment buildings, approximately $15 million per project.
- Assist with investment onboarding and servicing, including processing investment paperwork, verifying prospects’ accredited investor status, providing pertinent investment documents, and managing the pipeline.
- Partner with the Finance team on strategy, coordination, and tracking related to project sales and refinances.
- Manage investor communications, including inbound and outbound calls, a shared group inbox for investor inquiries, and project update communications.
- Manage the investor gifting process, including ordering gifts, tracking available stock, and ensuring items are delivered.
- Collaborate with the Legal team on contracts, investment offering materials, and other documentation to meet legal requirements and support a strong investor experience.
- Create and maintain tracking systems for investor transactions, project raises, and other necessary system audits.
- Assist the Equity Marketing team with investor events, materials, and communications as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
