About The Position

The Investor Accounting Analyst Team Lead performs complex reconciliation projects and reviews investor reports, schedules, and other reports related to loan servicing. The role serves as a subject matter expert in Investor Accounting and partners with Investor Reporting to help ensure accounts are balanced and compliant. The target pay for this position is $95,000–$110,000.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Three to five years of related experience, including investor accounting and reporting.
• At least one year of experience in a senior staff role overseeing the work of others.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile advanced actual/actual, scheduled/actual, and scheduled/scheduled investor principal and interest, and taxes and insurance bank accounts, meeting the 30-day deadline required by Regulation AB while making sound company financial decisions.
• Research and resolve reconciling items within 90 days, as required by Regulation AB.
• Research pool-to-security and test-of-expected-principal-and-interest differences, and keep management informed of issues.
• Research and review client questions and inquiries.
• Provide backup support, as needed, to a Supervisor or above for communication.
• Train and mentor lower-level staff to support compliance and professional growth.
• Support special projects by conducting research, providing information, and identifying possible solutions.
• Support other team members as needed to meet reporting deadlines.
• Compile reports on activities affecting custodial accounts for use by Investor Accounting Analysts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
