About The Position

This 10-week, full-time internship program, running from June to August 2027 in Philadelphia, offers early careers talent the opportunity to build skills, confidence, and perspective while contributing to work that enables clients to be better investors. Interns will gain hands-on experience in asset management, working on real projects, analyzing financial and market data, and supporting investment research. The program includes structured learning, networking opportunities, and exposure to senior leaders. Successful interns may be considered for Aberdeen's 24-month rotational Graduate Program starting in September 2028.

Requirements

Undergraduate students in their junior year of study, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
An interest in financial markets and how businesses, economies and global events shape the world around us.
Curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The ability to work with information and draw meaningful conclusions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive approach and a willingness to take initiative.
Permanent authorization to work in the United States and not require current or future sponsorship for employment visa status.

Nice To Haves

Previous knowledge of investments, Equities, Fixed Income or ETFs is not required.

Responsibilities

Research markets, industries and companies to support investment decisions.
Analyse financial, economic and market data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Help prepare reports, presentations and investment materials.
Monitor market developments and assess their impact on portfolios.
Take part in team meetings, research discussions and investment reviews.
Work with colleagues across investment, product, distribution and risk teams.
Present your insights and recommendations to investment professionals.
