About The Position

The Investment Strategy Technology Co-op position offers a chance to learn more about financial technology, working with the Investment Strategy Technology team. The Co-op will be in direct communication with both business and technology stakeholders and will be an integral part of the team. This is a great role with flexibility built in to allow the Co-op to learn about the financial services industry and develop a variety of technical skills.

The individual must be well organized, resourceful, motivated and have the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to think with vision and communicate concisely
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A team-orientation, and willingness to “pitch in” when necessary
Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program.

This co-op position entails cross-training to ensure optimal performance across functions.

Responsibilities

Writing code and unit tests for features and bug fixes.
Communicating with other technology teams as needed to complete projects and resolve questions.
Documenting at all steps – decisions and analysis, implementation, and support.
