About The Position

A top-producing multifamily investment team at Marcus & Millichap in Boston is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial investment sales agent to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional looking to build a long-term career in commercial real estate investment sales. This is a 100% commission-based position as a 1099 independent contractor. Through hands-on mentorship with this multifamily team, you will learn the fundamentals of investment brokerage while working closely with experienced senior agents.   • A current Massachusetts real estate license is required

Responsibilities

  • Apply Marcus & Millichap’s value proposition throughout the full brokerage process
  • Develop proficiency in proprietary systems and industry standard tools
  • Underwrite and analyze commercial properties to support marketing and valuation
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, lenders, and transaction partners
  • Build confidence in cold calling, networking, and relationship development
  • Develop negotiation, strategy, and transaction management skills
  • Gain exposure to financing solutions through Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation

  • Guaranteed monthly draw of $4,166 equivalent to $50,000 annually, paid on a (weekly/biweekly/semi-monthly/monthly basis) for the first 12 months of engagement
