About The Position

BBH is seeking sharp minds and bold thinkers for its 10-week internship program, designed as a pathway to real-world finance, global markets, and professional development. The program offers hands-on learning with experienced professionals on real projects, mentorship from industry leaders and BBH owners, and professional development through workshops, speaker series, and networking events. Interns will work in a collaborative environment, contribute ideas, and immerse themselves in the company culture through daily in-office presence. The program also includes community involvement through the BBHcares philanthropic program. An internship in the Investment Research Group provides early insight into the three-year analyst program, where analysts support the Investment Research Group (IRG) in manager selection and monitoring, asset allocation, risk management, and investment decisions for clients' portfolios. Analysts gain exposure to the entire investment process, from manager screening and due diligence to monitoring existing managers on the BBH platform. BBH manages approximately $60 billion in assets for high-net-worth, endowment, and foundation clients. IRG actively searches the investment universe and conducts due diligence to identify high-quality managers for inclusion in portfolios, focusing on long-term partnerships and deep due diligence.

Requirements

Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027
Background in and passion for finance, business, or investing
Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.7 or higher
Exceptional quantitative analytic capabilities
Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities
Effective communication skills, written and verbal
Strong understanding of asset management industry and security markets (equities and fixed income)
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem
Ability to prioritize competing demands
Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas

Responsibilities

Conduct due diligence on prospective managers and monitor existing managers
Perform financial analysis on prospective and existing managers
Participate in on-site and virtual meetings with managers across the globe
Communicate with managers and other IRG team members to deliver quarterly and annual materials, along with commentary on our managers
Assist in the creation of broader market commentary for internal and external recipients
Develop materials that outline IRG’s best thinking to present to BBH’s Private Banking Investment Oversight Committee, Relationship Managers, and clients of all BBH’s multi-family offices
Contribute to IRG’s mission of delivering investment excellence and instilling client confidence
