About The Position
Join Strategas as an Investment Research Analyst, where you will build foundational investment expertise while supporting the evaluation and monitoring of investment managers and strategies. You will partner closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to research markets, analyze data, and contribute to insights that inform client portfolios. This position is designed for early-career professionals who are intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within financial services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or full-time) in investment research, finance, or related field
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collect, organize, and interpret financial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to data accuracy
- Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and take direction
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with financial tools/databases preferred
- Progress toward or interest in pursuing CFA or other relevant designation preferred
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or basic modeling concepts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on investment managers, funds, and market trends to support due diligence efforts
- Gather, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data for investment evaluation
- Assist in preparing research reports, investment summaries, and presentation materials
- Update and maintain research databases, performance metrics, and tracking tools
- Support senior team members in monitoring portfolio holdings and manager performance
- Contribute to periodic reporting and commentary used by internal stakeholders and advisors
- Perform industry and competitive analysis to identify emerging investment themes
- Assist in coordinating due diligence activities such as calls, meetings, and documentation
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data used in investment decision-making
- Collaborate with team members to improve research processes and workflows
