As an Investment Representative at the Wood Gundy Investment Centre, you will work closely with Investment Advisors to offer support, proactively improve the client experience and effectively manage all administrative aspects of Wood Gundy branch operations. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you will be on-site full-time Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- Current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
- Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience and working knowledge of various quotation equipment is required.

Responsibilities
- Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
- Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with your team to build trust and deepen client relationships.
- Identify activities, processes and opportunities to improve the client experience.
- Provide day-to-day operation and administrative support to the branch and Investment Advisors including managing debits, client files and administrative and transactional banking functions in adherence to compliance and audit requirements.
- Perform Investment Advisor duties such as taking buy/sell orders of money market products, bonds, stocks and mutual funds, ensuring accuracy of all particulars pertaining to the trade.
- Ensure customer service standards and operational procedures are maintained by liaising among many departments within Wood Gundy.
