Investment Operations Analyst - Client Results

EARNEST Partners•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

We are a global investment management firm with approximately $50 billion in assets under advisement across equity and fixed-income strategies. We are evolving how we serve clients and deliver results. As data, automation, artificial intelligence, and changing market structures reshape the industry, we are strengthening the people, processes, controls, and technology that support client outcomes. The Client Results team ensures that client data, accounting records, performance results, and reporting are accurate, explainable, and supported by strong controls. We are exploring how better data, connected systems, automation, and AI can help us work more efficiently, uncover patterns and insights, analyze information more effectively, and continuously improve how work is performed. We value people who understand operational details, ask incisive questions, test assumptions, evaluate evidence from multiple sources, and translate creative ideas into reliable improvements. This is an opportunity for an intellectually curious professional who wants to build broad expertise in investment management while helping shape how investment operations evolve. We are seeking an Investment Operations Analyst with strong analytical, critical-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. The analyst will interpret complex data, understand how financial systems interact, exercise independent judgment, strengthen operating controls, and use automation and AI to generate insights and solve meaningful operational problems. The successful candidate will develop expertise in and assume increasing ownership of the processes that move investment data from trading and custody through accounting, performance, compliance, and client reporting. The analyst will investigate issues, assess their financial and operational impact, coordinate resolution, and help make the operating environment more accurate, connected, scalable, and resilient. As the analyst’s knowledge and experience grow, they will increasingly investigate issues independently, recommend solutions, drive resolution, and own assigned processes. Strong candidates go beyond executing existing processes: they understand their purpose, challenge assumptions, and design better ways of working.
