About The Position

Wilshire is seeking a qualified and passionate Investment Consulting Analyst. This role involves working with institutional investors and Wilshire’s Senior Leadership on ongoing investment topics and materials. The analyst will engage with investment materials such as asset allocation, investment structure, asset class education, manager research and evaluation, and investment manager monitoring. Collaboration with internal groups on traditional and alternative manager evaluation, investment research, and white papers is also a key aspect of the position. Additionally, the role includes auditing performance measurement work, assisting with the creation of client materials, and frequent communication with clients, including developing and delivering presentations to Client Boards/Committees.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in a quantitative field)
  • 0-2 years of client relationship experience
  • Thorough knowledge of investments and financial markets through past experience, personal investing, coursework, or CFA materials
  • Excellent ability to work on tasks both with limited supervision as well as in a highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Passionate commitment to continuous professional development
  • Interest in leveraging approved AI-enabled tools to streamline work processes, enhance productivity, and support high-quality outputs, while applying sound judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to firm policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Desire to participate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program is preferred

Responsibilities
