About The Position

Jefferies is hiring a Summer Associate for its Industrials Group in Chicago or New York. After orientation and training, the associate will join active deal teams for a 10-week summer engagement, working closely with senior bankers on pitches and live transactions and overseeing Summer Analysts’ work product. The role involves more than financial analysis and company research: associates are expected to understand market implications, identify industry and product trends, and contribute to pitch and deal materials and client deliverables. The program includes mentoring, social and educational events, and formal performance reviews. Jefferies describes its Chicago Industrials coverage as serving industrial services, multi-industrials, and capital goods clients, with a focus on M&A and a full suite of public and private equity and debt products. The Chicago group partners closely with the broader Diversified Industrials team in New York and emphasizes in-house execution and internal career development. Summer Associates have the opportunity to participate as full-time associates on the team.
