About The Position

BMO Capital Markets is a full-service North American financial services provider. Its 10-week Summer Analyst Program is intended for students between their junior and senior undergraduate years and places analysts in a specific investment banking product or industry group. The program includes a one-week training and orientation, opportunities to network with bankers, learning and development sessions, and guidance from dedicated mentors. The internship is considered an initial interviewing step for BMO Capital Markets’ full-time Investment Banking program. The Financial Sponsors Group focuses on financial sponsor clients, serving as their contact point and advocate across BMO. The team understands clients’ portfolios, provides deal and non-deal advisory support, and shares market intelligence about private equity trends, companies for sale, deals in market, and capital structure opportunities. As a Summer Analyst, you will support sponsor coverage and investment banking work across industries and financial products, including public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory.
