About The Position

As a Senior Analyst in Corporate Finance, you will work on engagements principally involving mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. As a dedicated member of the transaction team, you will support these assignments by preparing and analyzing company and industry financial information, conducting company valuations, and developing transaction and marketing materials. The position calls for strong financial modeling, analytical, research, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of investment banking experience.
Solid understanding of the sell-side M&A process and proven experience successfully closing deals.
Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies and applications.
Prior coursework in accounting and finance.
Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities, including strong LBO and DCF modeling skills.
Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
Understanding of financial statement analysis and the ability to assess key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Ability to think independently and solve problems resourcefully.
Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding environment.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and explain financial information about a company and related companies within its industry.
Perform company valuations using traditional valuation methodologies.
Prepare confidential offering memorandums, management presentations, buyers lists, and marketing pitches.
Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements.
