About The Position

This role is for an Investment Banking Private Capital Advisory (Placements) Associate III, who will play an integral role in the department's activities with a high level of responsibility within an industry-focused team. Key responsibilities include formulating new business proposals, developing company forecasts and valuations, evaluating merger and acquisition scenarios, and preparing documents for public stock issuance. The position requires making authoritative recommendations that significantly impact the business, undertaking strategic and tactical financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation to support decision-making. The associate will also develop and write highly visible materials, participate in strategy formulation for net present value (NPV) analysis, perform business case development, financial modeling, and accounting and valuation analyses, and support the prioritization and closing of key strategic deals. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data trends for reports, developing financial and economic models, and managing effort and finances within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • More than 15 years of General Experience
  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) - Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) certification

Responsibilities

  • Formulate new business proposals
  • Develop company forecasts and valuations

  • Prepare documents related to the public issuance of stock
  • Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term
  • Undertake strategic and tactical financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation to support business leaders in their decision-making
  • Develop and write materials that are highly visible, such as sensitive press releases or speeches to critical audiences
  • Participate in formulating the strategy to manage net present value (NPV) analysis on candidates (product pipeline)
  • Perform business case development, financial modeling, and accounting and valuation analyses, incorporating probability, time, cost, budget impacts, and returns, to allow for optimal strategic and investment decision-making
  • Support to prioritize and close key deals of strategic and/or financial significance for the company
  • Determine and analyze trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making
  • Develop financial and economic models for financial planning or monitoring purposes
  • Estimate and manage the effort and finances to complete the work within budget
  • Understand numerical concepts and use them to carry out mathematical operations e.g. in order to analyze reports
