About The Position
We are seeking a professional to join our Industrials team within the Investment Banking Division. This role involves contributing to complex financial challenges and transactions, advising on mergers, providing financial solutions for acquisitions, and structuring initial public offerings. The division works with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments, fostering a team of analytical thinkers with a passion for innovative ideas. The Industrials sector encompasses aerospace and defense, automotive, building and construction, business services, capital goods, diversified industrials, transportation and infrastructure, and paper, forest products, and packaging.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience.
- History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
- Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions.

- Previous Industrials sector experience preferred.

- Developing and strengthening client relationships.

- Coordinating teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions.
- Leading due diligence processes.
- Actively participating in the negotiations of legal documentation.
- Maintaining client communication.
- Helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions.
