About The Position

This remote contract role involves building realistic investment banking and M&A transaction environments and using AI agents to create and review valuation models, deal materials, task instructions, and objective evaluation criteria. The work translates live-deal workflows into realistic scenarios, supporting files, and client-facing deliverables. The role requires hands-on use of agentic AI tools to develop materials and independently verify their quality.

The time commitment is at least 10 hours per week, with 20 or more hours preferred. Each task takes approximately three hours, following approximately 15 hours of initial environment development; estimates include agent execution time. The role is open to candidates in the US or Canada, with the UK and Latin America also considered.

Requirements

• CPA.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in investment banking, M&A, or sell-side advisory.
• Hands-on experience building valuation models, comparable-company analyses, CIMs, pitch books, and client-facing materials for live deals.
• Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork for substantive work; general chatbot use alone is insufficient.

Nice To Haves

• Corporate carve-out experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience at a top-tier investment bank or M&A advisory firm.
• Industrials sector experience.
• Experience developing review standards, training junior professionals, or writing internal playbooks.
• Prior benchmark development or AI evaluation experience.
• Availability for 20 or more hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Build realistic transaction environments containing company information, financial statements, diligence materials, and deal context.
• Design multi-step tasks involving valuation, comparable-company analysis, financial modeling, and sell-side advisory.
• Use agentic AI tools to develop and review CIMs, pitch books, valuation models, and supporting deliverables.
• Independently verify the quality of materials developed with AI agents.
